SNL loses Nasim Pedrad to FOX, fires two more cast-members

Another year, another house-cleaning over at NBC’s popular ‘Saturday Night Live’. The show lost three members in total today, four total for this week. SNL decided not to renew two freshman cast members’ contracts, while one of the most popular veterans of the show is leaving for FOX.
The two freshman contracts that SNL decided not to renew are of Noël Wells and John Milhiser. The biggest loss this week will be that Nasim Pedrad, a regular on the series for five seasons now, has decided to leave the series to co-star in the Fox comedy “Mulaney.” (the comedy may be on FOX but its executive producer is Lorne Michaels).
Earlier this week the first cut was announced via Twitter, Brooks Wheelan, also a first-year cast member, took to the social-media site earlier this week to let fans know that he was fired from the show and would not be returning.
