Penguins of Madagascar will bring Benedict Cumberbatch to SDCC for the first time

Fans that head to San Diego Comic-Con this year will be in for a special treat, they will be the first attendees to have the chance to run into Benedict Cumberbatch at the event. The popular ‘Sherlock’ actor will be attending to promote DreamWorks Animation’s new feature ‘Penguins of Madagascar’.
 
In the film Cumberbatch plays Agent Classified, other stars of the film include John Malkovich wile Tom McGrath and directors Simon J. Smith and Eric Darnell will also be hand to promote the film before its scheduled November 26, 1014 release date.
 
The animate-tale will have a panel in the massive Hall H and will begin Thursday, at 11:30 a.m. Many of the films and series that Benedict Cumberbatch has taken part in the past have hit San-Diego Comic-Con including ‘Star Trek,’ The Hobbit,’ ‘Sherlock’ and others, but scheduling has always kept Benedict Cumberbatch from appearing.
 
Now he will meet more fans that he may be ready for, as the craziness that is SDCC will come crashing down on the popular actor.
