Sony’s super-thin Xperia Z2 Tablet is headed to Verizon Wireless

If you were hoping to pick up Sony Mobile’s latest tablet at long last but weren’t sure if it was hitting your carrier, then you will be happy if you are a Verizon Wireless customer, and less pleased if you are not.
The two companies announced today that the the Xperia Z2 Tablet will be available in the U.S. as an exclusive to Verizon Wireles. The tablet runs on Android with 4G LTE capabilities and Verizon customers can pre-order for the Xperia Z2 Tablet beginning July 10, 2014.
At just 0.25″ slim and weighing less than a pound, the Xperia Z2 Tablet is so slim and lightweight, you will forget you’re holding it. Even with its sleek build, you do not have to give a second thought about where you use it, since the Xperia Z2 Tablet is designed with a display that is scratch resistant and a body that is waterproof.
The Sony Xperia Z2 offers a sturdy 6000mAh battery plus STAMINA Mode allowing 10 hours of multimedia use. Additionally, the speed of the Snapdragon 801 processor paired with that of Verizon’s fast 4G LTE network, will help tackle all of your heavy media-streaming needs.
The tablet also is the first 10.1″ full HD TRILUMINOS for mobile display with Live Color LED technology being offered. It also features Sony’s Front Surround audio technology, digital noise canceling support3 and abundle gives Xperia Z2 Tablet owners six blockbuster movies, an exclusive early access pass to “The Amazing Spider-Man 2” when it becomes available for digital download, and 90 days of free music streaming through Sony’s Music Unlimited4.
