Gillian Flynn fans, your new Gone Girl trailer is here

After months of teasers, screens and behind-the-scenes tidbits from the crew, 20th Century FOX has released the second theatrical trailer for the highly anticipated thriller ‘Gone Girl’.

The film, based on the enormously popular Gillian Flynn novel of the same name written in 2012, is scheduled to be released this fall. Fans should know that David Fincher is directing the film, but Gillian Flynn wrote the screenplay herself.

Among the top-tier cast picked to portray the novel on-screen are Ben Affleck, Rosamund Pike and Neil Patrick Harris.

By now almost everyone should know the story of the film, but if you have yet to read the book (you should do that immediately after watching this trailer) the film is about a man who’s wife’s disappearance becomes the center-point of the media’s attention, a spotlight that begins to shed some light on the husband, and casting doubt that he is as innocent as he claims to be.

The film is scheduled to release among a long-list of spooky-themed horror-releases and other thrillers in the October release-window. Luckily for fans, this film will be one of the first, scheduled to premiere on October 3, 2014.

As we mentioned before, if somehow you missed this book when it was released, you can pick it up almost anywhere books are sold. More info: amazon.com/gonegirl
