Shia LaBeouf removed by police from Cabaret on Broadway, in handcuffs
A lesson to those traveling to our fair city, we take our Broadway shows very seriously; do not disturb them. The ‘no longer famous’ actor known as Shia LaBeof made headlines again this week, this time after he was removed by police from the Broadway musical ‘Cabaret’ during the performance.
The reports come from both the performers in “Cabaret” and by many of the spectators that were in attendance. According to initial reports LaBeof was allegedly very disruptive during the first act of the play, so much so that he was soon removed from the theater in handcuffs during the intermission.
The Tony-nominated play stars Michelle Williams and Alan Cumming, it has been a terrific hit and one of the harder acts to get tickets for in the theater district. The best tweet of the night went to Tony-nominee Benj Pasek, the actor stated, “Just saw Shia LaBeouf in handcuffs in tears surrounded by 6 police officers outside of CABARET the musical. Oh New York, u is a crazy bitch.” Danny Burstein took to Facebook to make an announcement, ““Ladies and gentlemen, this is your places call for Act II. Also, to let you know, Shia LaBeouf has just been escorted from the building in handcuffs.”
Yep, that just happened.”
At this time no charges have been reported, the incident took place Thursday night.
