Emilia Clarke added to Voice from the Stone
Just as HBO’s hit series ‘Game of Thrones’ ends season three this week, Emilia Clarke has been added to another film set to begin production later this year. Clarke of course is best known for her role as Daenerys Targaryen (Mother of Dragons, Breaker of chains…etc… on Game of Thrones) The popular actor is now set to star in the thriller “Voice from the Stone,” the new project will begin filming in November of this year, with a 2016 release date set for now.
Dean Zanuck and Stefano Gallini-Durante will produce the film, Mark Wheaton has been added as an executive producer. As of right now Eric D. Howell is directing the project based on a script from Andrew Shaw.
The film will be based on the very popular Italian novel “La voce della Pietra” written by Silvio Raffo. Clarke will also be playing the role of Sarah Connor in “Terminator: Genesis,” her first major film role. She has been testing the waters on stage as well (testing as in American theater, she is classically trained for the stage as well), she played Holly Golightly in the revival of “Breakfast at Tiffany’s,” which opened to mix reviews.
