New Details surface on Madden 15 Features
E3 is in full swing, and EA Sports is on a rampage, bringing you all the latest features for the upcoming Madden NFL 15.
Yesterday we got a look at some new defensive mechanics, including two new camera angles, new pass rush moves, and new open field tackling mechanics. By engaging players more on the defense, EA Sports is hoping to make playing as a lineman or linebacker more engaging and fun.
The new defensive mechanics are only the beginning, however, as broadcast presentation has also received a variety of new features. There will be improved player and coach models, additional camera angles and player celebrations, and a brand new halftime show complete with highlights, analysis, and first half recaps.
Madden NFL 15 will also offer newcomers (and the occasional vet that wants to brush up on their skills) a robust set of drills and tutorials. Skills Trainer has been enhanced to offer improvement for both the basic concepts of football, and also the finer points of the game. Feeling pretty good about your skills? Step into The Gauntlet for the ultimate test of you football skills.
In game, the play-calling system has been tweaked to beyond the typical groupings of formations, personnel, etc. A new cloud based suggestion system has been added to draw from millions of plays chosen by the Madden NFL community. Now you can not only “Ask Madden,” but all your fellow Madden fans as well.
Madden NFL 15 will release on August 26th, 2014 for the PS4, Xbox One, PS3, and Xbox 360.
