Christian Slater added to Pamela Romanowsky’s Adderall Diaries, joins James Franco

It may be hard to keep-up with all of James Franco’s work, the last time we checked in with him he was doing a terrific job on Broadway in ‘Of Mice and Men,’ but there is one feature film that you should keep track of, and that’s the ‘Adderall Diaries’.

The film comes from director Pamela Romanowsky, who will now be leading both Franco and recently added Christian Slater. Fans of Slater from his early work in the 90s know that he has been making a terrific comeback lately, starring in everything from FX’s ‘Archer’ to the Lars von Trier film ‘Nymphomaniac’ among a few other popular projects.

Adderall Diaries has a simple premise, but it should be very interesting to see how both Franco and Slater work-off one-another in the film. The story sets Franco as a drug-addicted author, struggling with himself and the day-to-day, when he learns of a high-profile murder trial that inspires him to write his next novel.

Shooting here in New York the film we have very high-expectations for the film and eagerly await its release, the script was written by Romanowsky. At the center of the murder-trial will be Christian Slater, he has been charged with the murder of his ex-wife.
