Dakota Fanning, Elizabeth Olsen’s ‘Very Good Girls’ releases a new trailer post Sundance

The last time we checked in with the coming of age story ‘Very Good Girls,’ critics were a little divided. The film has a very noteworthy cast including Elizabeth Olsen & Dakota Fanning, who play teenage friends about to set-off for college in the fall.

The story picks up during that summer, after the two-friends make a pact to both lose their virginity over the summer before college-classes begin. As luck would have it, out of all the boys they could fall in love with, they both fall for the dreamy David (played by Boyd Holbrook). It’s this sudden twist of fate that causes their friendship to be tested.

The film was directed by new-director Naomi Fomer, who also wrote the film. Picking up smaller roles are Ellen Barkin, Clark Gregg, Peter Sarsgaard, Richard Dreyfuss and even Demi Moore. Like we said, the cast is impressive.

Tribeca Film and Well Go USA Entertainment premiered the film at last year’s Sundance Film Festival, but it will finally see a larger audience when it releases on June 24 on select VOD services.
