Crytek and Deep Silver confirm Homefront: The Revolution for 2015

After a small leak unveiled the title of the game, Homefront: The Revolution has now been officially confirmed from Deep Silver as a new title releasing in 2015. The ‘Homefront’ franchise was once under the THQ realm, but now will be published under Deep Silver, and developed by the team at Crytek.

The game was just one of several franchises that were sold-off to the highest bidder last year, Deep Silver bought the IP when THQ went bankrupt. Since the original leak, Deep Silver decided to simply confirm the existence of the game, which was most likely going to be revealed next week at E3, and announce the title of the installment, now called Homefront: The Revolution. The first trailer for the game was released as well, you can watch that below.  In the game Deep Silver states, “The United States of America is occupied, but not defeated. Launch the second American Revolution from the birthplace of Liberty itself: Philadelphia.”

Also confirmed are the platforms for the title, the game has been confirmed for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC but the only release window we have is “2015.” More information on this game and many others will be announced at E3 2014 next week.
