Last month Jessica Alba turned 33 years-old, but on the cover of Entertainment Weekly‘s ‘Summer Must’ issue she looks she hasn’t aged a day since 1995. That’s when the actor took a role in ‘Sin City,’ a film that would cement her name in the pop-culture franchise that has spent the last decade preparing a sequel to return to the box-office.
After taking some time away from blockbusters like ‘Fantastic Four’ to raise her little darlings (Haven Garner Warren, Honor Marie Warren) Alba is making a comeback, and she is starting with the Frank Miller sequel, ‘Sin City: A Dame to Kill For.’ The film is introducing some top-talent to help make the sequel even more tempting for fans that may have missed the first installment, by enlisting Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Eva Green, and Josh Brolin.
You can see Alba in action in the first trailer released for the film, fully-equipped with more sexy-dancing and mirror bashing.
The new film is sure to be a box-office draw when the film hits theaters on August 22 but that isn’t the only project Alba has lined-up for her fans. Jessica has ‘The Wright Girls, ‘The Veil, ‘Barely Lethal,’ and ‘How to Make Love Like an Englishman’ all in-store for the next two-years, and that’s not even the entire list. 2014 and 2015 will host a flood of Alba material, and judging by how she looks in the pool, fans won’t that mind at all.
