Zach Braff’s ‘Wish I Was Here’ second trailer, the latest since Sundance
The Kickstarter-backed project from Zach Braff, ‘Wish I was Here’ released a new trailer this week, the first since the film premiered at Sundance earlier in the year.
This will be Braff’s first major-film since “Garden State,” the new project had a terrific showing at Sundance, where it was picked up for national release by Focus Features. In the film Braff stars as Aidan, a man on journey, who is once again, beset by hardships and responsibilities. A continuing theme in Braff’s pictures, and one that he follows through with very well.
In the film you will also find Kate Hudson, she takes on the role of Aidan’s wife in the story, while actor Josh Gad plays Aiden’s brother. “When we were kids, my brother and I used to pretend that we were heroes. The ones who could save the day. But maybe we’re just the regular people. The ones who get saved.” The closing line in trailer, and one that preludes to further plot developments later on.
If you haven’t seen the film yet, “Wish I Was Here” will release on July 18.
