At the world premiere, held here in New York at the Tribeca Film Festival. the two actors came out to support the film, along with fellow stars Adam Brody and Gabourey Sidibe. Directing the film was Susanna Fogel, the project was based on a script co-wrote by Fogel and Joni Lefkowitz. The film was very well received, and now Red Crown Prods. and Haven Entertainment, along with Joni Lefkowitz, Jordana Mollick, Brendan Bragg, Riva Marker and Daniela Taplin Lundberg are producing the film.
In the film Leighton Meester and Gillian Jacobs are best-friends, though basically in a co-dependent relationship with each other when the film opens. That dynamic is threatened when Jacobs’ character begins a relationship with a new man. This creates an awkward triangle between the three, and the two girls are forced to overcome new obstacles in order to either stay with one another, or have their relationship end.
