Harry Potter spinoff and new J.K. Rowling Movie ‘Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them’ releasing in 2016

After months of hinting and teasing, Warner Bros. is finally ready to put a release window on the next Harry Potter installment, ‘Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.’
The studio set an official release date earlier today with Warner Bros. announcing that November 18, 2016 will be the day that millions of Harry Potter fans will get to see the J.K. Rowling film on the big screen. Warner Bros. secured the rights to the original book that Rowling wrote as a fictional tale from the Harry Potter universe but does not contain the ‘boy who lived’.
The book was released back in 2001 and was called, “Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them.” Fans of the original Harry Potter books should remember that the title comes from one of the actual textbooks given-out to students at Hogwarts.
As for the finer details of the film, Rowling is writing the screenplay and the plot of the film is expected to follow the life of Newt Scamander, the fictional writer of the original textbook in the Harry Potter Universe, and will cover how he collected his findings.
