Nvidia confirms the Half-Life 2 release for Shield,

Just as we previously reported, Valve confirmed today to the public that it has made Half-Life 2 available on Google Play. This comes just after the company released Portal on the peripheral as well, earlier this month. “NVIDIA has done a remarkable job bringing both Half-Life 2 and Portal to SHIELD,” said Doug Lombardi Vice President of Marketing at Valve. “We’re playing both games here on our SHIELDs and fans of both franchises can expect the same gameplay they’ve come to love on the PC.
Nvidia promises the “full PC versions natively on Android,” according to the company’s official statement on the release, “The graphic performance is sharp; the controls are precise and natural,” the company stated on its blog.
