From Private Practice, Caterina Scorsone comes back to Grey’s Anatomy as someone gets fired

Grey’s Anatomy usually has several irons in the fire, something that fans are well accustomed to at this point, but with Sandra Oh leaving, the series coming to a close and weddings and firings on everyone’s mind, this season is even more hectic than usual. Tonight’s new episode, “Everything I Try to Do, Nothing Seems to Turn Out Right” is one that fans won’t want to miss.

Caterina Scorsone from Private Practice will be on the guest-list for tonight’s episode as well. When we check in with the doctors Derek is away and Meredith is spending time with Amelia when she finds out her true feelings about her time in Seattle. Meanwhile Bailey deals with the ramifications of her past and most recent actions and at the same time Callie will receive “devastating news,” as the network teases for tonight’s storyline.

All the while in the background the residents are in a panic after hearing that one of them will be fired. ABC usually releases the full guest-star list ahead of the episodes, but for tonight the guest-star list was withheld, so you might catch some familiar faces. “Everything I Do, Nothing Seems to Turn Out Right” was written by Austin Guzman and was directed by Bill D’Elia.

“Grey’s Anatomy” stars Ellen Pompeo as Meredith Grey, Patrick Dempsey as Derek Shepherd, Sandra Oh as Cristina Yang, Justin Chambers as Alex Karev, Chandra Wilson as Miranda Bailey, James Pickens, Jr. as Richard Webber, Sara Ramirez as Callie Torres, Kevin McKidd as Owen Hunt, Jessica Capshaw as Arizona Robbins, Jesse Williams as Jackson Avery, Sarah Drew as April Kepner, Camilla Luddington as Jo Wilson, Gaius Charles as Shane Ross, Jerrika Hinton as Stephanie Edwards and Tessa Ferrer as Leah Murphy.
