Reports point to signaficant Persona Announcement Coming May 2nd

On May 2nd, 11:30pm Japanese local time, Niconico will host a live broadcast of the “Shadow Hour TV Persona Hour.” The planned broadcast will feature two parts, with the first half focusing on the upcoming anime ‘Persona 3 The Movie #2: Midsummer Knight’s Dream’ (slated to premiere on June 7th), and will also feature a look back on the previously released “Persona 3: The Movie #1: Spring of Birth.”
The second half of the program will feature guests as they discuss the future of the Persona franchise, including information on potential Persona projects yet to be released, or announced. Website Gematsu has stated that there will be, “significant announcements such as a new Persona project scheduled,” but did not go into detail on what those announcements were.
There is no official word yet on whether this has anything to do with any of Persona’s upcoming games, or if it is simply a featured look at related Persona projects in other forms of media. Either way fans will want to check-in on the broadcast and be the first to hear if any new Persona titles or films will be releasing in the second-half of 2014 and or in 2015.
