Miley Cyrus canceling more shows, pushes entire tour back due to illness
Things are just getting worse for Miley Cyrus, the pop-sensation and current tour champion fell-ill this week after having a bad reaction to antibiotics, and now it seems she will remain hospitalized for the next few days.
The severe allergic reaction that Miley sustained this week will now cause all of the U.S. dates on her Bangerz Tour to be postponed until August. That will be a total of eleven shows, a gigantic setback for both Cyrus and her fans. Those cities included in the tour over that time period are Charlotte, Nashville, Louisville, St. Louis and Pittsburgh.
If you are reading this from across the pond, as of right now the European dates (beginning on May 2 in Amsterdam) are not affected by this change.
Cyrus first complained about flu-like symptoms back in April of this year, that spell caused Cyrus to cancel her Charlotte, North Carolina performance. Now the star seems sicker than before, having been hospitalized and canceling her show in Kansas City, Missouri.
“Miley was suffering from a sinus infection during her tour. She was prescribed the antibiotic Cephalexin which shes now suffered an extreme allergic reaction to. This type of extreme reaction can last from five to 27 days in these types of cases. She will remain hospitalized and is under a doctor’s care until we see some improvement in her condition and is asking for your compassion and privacy at this time.”
