Miley Cyrus cancels concert after allergic reaction sends her to the emergency room
Of all the reasons to cancel a show, being rushed to the ER due to an allergic reaction is by far one of the most valid reasons an artist can give to his or her fans. Earlier today pop-sensation Miley Cyrus was sent to the hospital after a severe allergic reaction to her antibiotics materialized.
Cyrus was then forced to cancel her Bangerz tour appearance, she was scheduled to appear at the Kansas City Sprint Center this evening. “Cyrus has been hospitalized for a severe allergic reaction to antibiotics and has been placed on medical rest by her doctors,” according to a statement from the Sprint Center earlier today. The young performer also Tweeted earlier tonight, an apology to her fans stating, “Kansas I promise I’m as [heartbroken] as you are. I wanted so badly 2 b there 2night. Not being with yall makes me feel s––––––– than I already do,” she said on Twitter.
This is the second event that Cyrus had to cancel due to illness, her Charlotte, N.C. tour shutdown when Cyrus was “diagnosed with the flu and doctors have ordered her to rest,” according to Live Nation.
We hope that she’s back up and working the crowd soon.
