CBS has confirmed that the husband and wife super-couple of Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton will perform a duet during the ACM event in May which will be airing on the 20th, a Tuesday night. There will also be performances by Eli Young Band and Rascal Flatts, both have been added to the lineup for ACM PRESENTS: AN ALL-STAR SALUTE TO THE TROOPS, to be broadcast Tuesday, May 20 (9:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on CBS.
The event will be hosted by NCIS: LOS ANGELES stars LL COOL J and Chris O’Donnell. The concert event, which features some of the biggest names in country music paying tribute to our armed forces, will be taped Monday, April 7 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
Additionally, retired Navy SEAL Marcus Luttrell, CRIMINAL MINDS star Joe Mantegna, singer Craig Morgan, “Entertainment Tonight” host Nancy O’Dell and THE TALK co-host Sheryl Underwood will present. These artists and presenters join previously announced performers Dierks Bentley, Lee Brice, Luke Bryan, Merle Haggard, Hunter Hayes, Toby Keith, Tim McGraw, Kellie Pickler, George Strait, Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban, Florida Georgia Line, Lady Antebellum and The Band Perry.
The concert will honor the country’s remarkable servicemen and women and include special moments and stories of incredible bravery and integrity. Proceeds from ticket sales for ACM PRESENTS: AN ALL-STAR SALUTE TO THE TROOPS will benefit ACM Lifting Lives, the charitable arm of the Academy
