True Blood season seven premieres in June, along with Rapture series ‘The Leftovers’
Fans that have been anxiously awaiting the return of the Vampire-series ‘True Blood’ now have a fixed-date to stare at for a few months, HBO confirmed the return of the series in June 2014.
This will be the seventh and final season for “True Blood,” the long-running HBO series will begin its end on June 22. The show will be given ten final episodes to bring the vampire-world to a close and tie up all the loose ends.
Also premiering in June is the new series “The Leftovers,” the show is about The Rapture and is set to debut on HBO this summer as well. In order to give ‘The Leftovers’ the best possible lead-in ever, the show will debut following the June 15th season four finale of “Game of Thrones.”
The new series will based on the popular best-selling novel of Tom Perrotta, the events of the show take place after the Biblical rapture and focuses on the souls that are left behind. Justin Theroux, Amy Brenneman, Christopher Eccleston and Liv Tyler are all signed-on to the series.
