Preview ‘Begin Again’ before Tribeca, with Keira Knightley and Mark Ruffalo

Keira Knightley, Mark Ruffalo, Hailee Steinfeld and Adam Levine come together for ‘Begin Again,’ a film about the hardships of one songwriter and a producer on his last leg.

The film was very popular on the film-circuit last year, at that time the title was ‘Can a Song Save Your Life?’ but the studio chose a shorter title when it was picked up for distribution.

Set to close down the Tribeca Film Festival, a new trailer offers a look into the characters and optimistic story of the project. Rejected by his record label, Ruffalo’s character is in dire straights. Mewanwhile Gretta (played by Keira Knightley) moves to New York to be with her promising musician-boyfriend (played by Adam Levine) who dumps her the moment a major label picks up his band.

With a new song and a heavy-heart Knightley performs an acoustic set which is seen by Ruffalo, and the story begins. Other stars of the film include Hailee Steinfeld, James Corden, Catherine Keener and a Cee Lo Green.

The Weinstein Co picked up the film after it was shopped around the Toronto Film Festival, and it is set to premiere in select theaters this July.
