Kristen Stewart has never been one to blindly follow trends, and her latest ad-campaign for Chanel has her back in Cornrows and rocking boots. We announced back in December that the popular actor would be heading-up the new Chanel campaign for 2014, and a few of the images have leaked online.
The original announcement came during the Karl Lagerfeld’s Paris-Dallas event, but the new images shown today are far more rural-American than we might have imagined. A metallic top set against feathers and coupled with American Flags screams patriotic, and unique to say the least. The ads won’t be finalized for a few more weeks, though you can imagine that they will be available everywhere Chanel can reach. The low-grade previews come via @GARCON_CHANEL/INSTAGRAM
Stewart is coming off her successful showing of ‘Camp X-Ray’ at Sundance, and has quite a few irons in the fire for 2014 and beyond. This includes the follow-up to ‘Snow White and the Huntsman’ and the ‘1984’ inspired ‘Equals’.
