Sony has detailed the next system software update for the PS Vita, called version 3.10 the update will be made available “later today.” The update brings some new features, some of which many PS Vita owners have been asking for in the past.
First off you will now be able to display “more than 100 applications on the home screen,” according to Sharon Kapitula, Platform Marketing of SCEA. The calendar will also allow you to sync your Google calendar, and you can share gaming events through the messages and email applications.
A new tool to “Manage Content on Memory Card” has been added, allowing you to view the data on your memory card, by content type, and of course delete content or applications. Sending and receiving voice messages with the Messages application is a new feature. Allowing you to share voice messages with your friends and players on both the PS4 and PS Vita.
