A whole new generation of children and young-adults can fall in love with Snoopy’s antics and Charlie Brown’s bad luck, thanks to a film that will release this November. The Peanut holiday specials still play every year, with a few of the lesser-known ‘made for TV’ films still getting a decent play through on major networks as well, but this will be a full-length motion-picture.
Created by Charles Schulz the animated series and comics are some of the most recognized comic-characters of all time, the trailer for the film was released earlier today from Fox. The film is scheduled to release on November 6, 2015.
The 3D animation is a first for the series, brought to you via Blue Sky Studios and a choice that other popular comics like ‘Garfield’ has used in the past. The storyline is a closely guarded secret, though we aren’t sure why at this point in production.

Plenty of “Good grief!” moments are ahead in the film, and the famous catchphrase even made it into the trailer. You may remember that back in 1980 Peanuts hit the theater as well, with the film “Bon Voyage, Charlie Brown (And Don’t come Back!!)”.
Producing the new film is Charles Schulz’s son, Craig Schulz, with his son and his son’ writing partner Cornelius Uliano writing the script.
