The time to start thinking about 4K has come, as more and more manufacturers prepare their screens and devices to allow 4K playback, YouTube is now rolling out video-support for user’s files.
YouTube made the announcement earlier today, even uploading a video to show off the new tech (assuming you have a 4K playable to device to watch it on). Now YouTube supports HD in 720p, 1080p and 1440p should you need it.
Now this is also assuming that you have filmed whatever clip you are uploading in 4K, which may not be as cheap as consumers would like at this point. Either way it’s a giant step forward for the 4K resolution-revolution.
