CW shows Grant Gustin in full Flash suit for the first time
The CW has released the first image of Grant Gustin wearing the complete ‘Flash’ suit for the network’s upcoming ‘Arrow’ spinoff series, ‘Flash’. The popular crimson-suit stands true to many of the designs used in comics and animated series in the past, though a but more textured than the traditional speed-suit.
Barry Allen/The Flash was shown just last month donning the mask of the popular superhero of Center City, this marks the first time the full suit was shown. If you like the new design, you can thank Oscar-winning costume designer Colleen Atwood, who didn’t just help design the Flash’s new suit, but Green Arrow’s as well.
“I hope the fans who treasure the character are as excited as we are by what costume designer Colleen Atwood has achieved with this latest version of The Flash’s iconic suit,” said pilot director/executive producer David Nutter.
The Arrow’s two-part winter finale will have the Central City assistant police forensic visiting Starling, investigating strange robberies that he believes could hold a connection to tragic events in his past.
John Wesley Shipp, Tom Cavanagh Jesse L. Martin, Candice Patton, Danielle Panabaker, Carlos Valdes and Rick Cosnett are also appearing in the series.
