Hulu is adding quite a few series to the company’s growing library of soaps and series. The online streaming site has confirmed that customers will soon get to catch up with Dwayne Wayne, Bill Cosby, Grace (Under Fire), Cybill,a new U.K. soap, new movies and a recap of the Oscars.
Starting later tonight Hulu will have the Oscars ceremony in two parts on Hulu/Hulu Plus. “The Jimmy Kimmel Live: After the Oscars” special will also be available as well as clips and red carpet coverage. Among the new series being added are “A Different World,” “Cybill,” “Cosby,” and “Grace Under Fire,” this will mark their U.S. online debuts as they hit the Hulu Plus subscription service here.
Fans of the British series “Hollyoaks,” a long-running daily soap opera will now be able to watch the series in the U.S. today on Hulu and Hulu Plus, and will run on the service every weekday closely aligned with its U.K. air. If movies are more your style then catch up with Rob Boy, Thomas Crown Affair, Babe, Dances With Wolves, Silence of the Lambs, Meatballs, Adventures of Milo and Otis, Devil in a Blue Dress, Guarding Tess, Lonely Hearts, Tortilla Soup, Husbands and Wives
Starting on March 6 Olympic Medalists Nick Goepper and Torah Bright are featured in “My Side of the Sky,” Hulu’s action sports docuseries featuring young pro athletes training at the famed Windells Academy. Shortly after on March 11 “Bron/Broen” will be available, that series is the inspiration behind FX’s “The Bridge”. The following week on March 22 Hulu will launch “Line of Duty,” BBC2’s hugely popular detective drama series created by Jed Mercurio, this will be the second season for that series. “The Only Way is Essex” starts off on March 22 and March 26 will be the finale of “Fresh Meat,” the award-winning UK comedy from creators Sam Bain and Jesse Armstrong (“Veep,” “Peep Show”).
