Amazon Prime Instant Video grabs rights to MTV’s Teen Wolf Series, and MGM library

 
The latest content licensing deal between Amazon and MGM includes all past seasons and episodes of the popular drama, along with popular MGM films such as The Silence of the Lambs, Raging Bull, The Terminator, Thelma and Louise and The Usual Suspects.
 
This will make Prime Instant Video the exclusive online-only subscription home for streaming all past seasons and episodes of the popular MTV series Teen Wolf. This news follows the announcement made in October that Amazon and MGM expanded their content licensing agreement, which included making the epic series Vikings available on Prime Instant Video.
 
Today’s announcement also brings Prime members a number of beloved MGM films, including Oscar-winning titles The Usual Suspects, Raging Bull and Thelma and Louise, all available for instant streaming on hundreds of compatible devices anytime, anywhere. Additional fan favorites, such as The Terminator, The Silence of the Lambs, Moonstruck and A Fish Called Wanda, will also be available to Prime members later this year as part of the deal.

Prime Instant Video is the exclusive online-only subscription home for PBS series Downton Abbey and Mr. Selfridge, FX drama The Americans,CBS summer blockbuster series Under the Dome and later this summer, Extant. Other hit TV series exclusives include Veronica Mars, Justified,Falling Skies, Grimm, Workaholics, Suits and Covert Affairs. Prime Instant Video also offers an exclusive collection of kids shows from Nickelodeonand Nick Jr. that customers won’t find on any other online-only subscription service, including favorites like SpongeBob SquarePants, Dora the Explorer, Team Umizoomi, Blue’s Clues, and The Bubble Guppies. Airing now, Amazon’s first original series Alpha House and Betas can be found exclusively on Prime Instant Video as well.
 
Customers can enjoy Prime Instant Videos on hundreds of compatible Amazon Instant Video devices including Kindle Fire HDX, Kindle Fire HD, iPad, iPhone, iPod touch, Roku, Xbox, PlayStation and the Wii. Prime Instant Video is the only U.S. online subscription streaming service that enables offline viewing—on a plane, on vacation, and anywhere else where you may not have Wi-Fi. Customers can download tens of thousands of Prime Instant Videos to their new Kindle Fire HD or Kindle Fire HDX.
