Philip Seymour Hoffman Autopsy results are inconclusive, more tests ordered
Only a few short days after the tragic death of actor Philip Seymour Hoffman, the medical examiner of New York has deemed the autopsy report as inconclusive, stating that more tests will be needed in order to finalize the exact cause of death.
A spokeswoman for the medical examiner’s office of New York, Julie Bolcer, couldn’t give an estimated date that these tests would be completed. The spokeswoman also refused any questions about any existing tests that are currently being performed, but it has been assumed that a toxicology and tissue test would be the first ordered.
As for the NYPD, they are treating the case as a suspected drug-overdoes, Philip Seymour Hoffman was recently found dead in his West Village apartment last Sunday morning.
