Ke$ha pushes back tour dates to stay on track at Rehab
It looks like Ke$ha is doing well in rehab, but the pop-star isn’t ready to leave just yet. The artist recently announced that she would be pushing-back tour-dates, in order to stay in rehab and to keep getting better.
Ke$ha entered the facility back in January, she admitted herself to treatment for eating disorders, and although Ke$ha has reported progress since entering rehab, she has also postponed her spring concerts.”I was so looking forward to performing at these dates but I need to follow my doctor’s advice and get my health back on track,” she announced Tuesday in a statement that went to PEOPLE.
Those dates for her March and April shows had Ke$ha appearing in Indiana and Wisconsin. Now the Warrior Tour, which started in back in May 2013, is currently undergoing an overhaul. The tour was originally planned until April 2014.
Ke$ha is now publicly battling anorexia and bulimia, a fight hard enough to battle on its own without the thought of tour-dates and disappointed fans. So far there hasn’t been any reports that Ke$ha isn’t doing well in recovery, she is seeking treatment at the Timberline Knolls facility.
On Twitter Ke$ha reached out to fans saying, “All of your support during this time has been so amazing”. She then added, “I couldn’t have done this without you all. I look forward to coming back stronger than ever on the next tour.”
