Amy Adams, Jake Gyllenhaal will star in Philip Seymour Hoffman project ‘Ezekiel Moss’
Amy Adams will be following up her Academy Award nominated performance in ‘American Hustle’ with a new film co-staring Jake Gyllenhaal. The film, called Ezekiel Moss, is a new drama to be directed by Philip Seymour Hoffman.
The story takes place during the Prohibition years of early America. The film itself was written by Keith Bunin, the writer from ‘Black List’. According to reports, Exclusive Media has picked up the terminational rights to the film, domestic rights will go to the highest bidder at the European Film Market in Berlin.
As for the two stars, Amy Adams is set to play Iris, a widow running a boarding house and mother of her young son Joel. This is when dark-eyed drifter (played by Gyllenhaal) comes into the religious town, with a unique ability to channel the departed.
Set to produce the film are Anthony Bregman, Kevin Frakes, Raj Brinder Singh and Cathy Schulman.
