The CW will host a four-hour mini-series for the upcoming special-event ‘Labyrinth’, the network made the official announcement earlier this evening. The mini-series itself will be based on the work by Kate Mosse, which has already aired in several countries across the globe including Korea, the U.K. and Canada but not here in the States.
Following two women the story is told in two timeframes, one in medieval France and the other in modern times. Though the women are separated by centuries, they are both seeking the Holy Grail. Staring in the mini-series will be Jessica Brown-Findlay and Vanessa Kirby.
This is another series that the CW secured that fits into its ‘fantasy’ setting, the network already has the drama “Reign” and is doing quite well with viewership in the genre. The CW stopped short of nailing down a specific timeframe for the mini-series to begin, but more information is expected over the coming weeks.
