Horror fans will have a long wait before the next installment to The Conjuring series premieres at their local theater. New Line confirmed today that Annabelle, the spinoff of “The Conjuring,” will premiere on January 27 in Los Angeles.
The film has behind it Peter Safran and “The Conjuring” director James Wan, who are producing this film. We reported early last year that New Line would expand ‘The Conjuring’, which brought in an amazing $318 million after it was finished in theaters (considering the film only had a $20 million budget).
Annabelle Wallis (Peaky Blinders) and Ward Horton will star in this installment, along with John Leonetti, the cinematographer from “The Conjuring,” directing. The script was written by Gary Dauberman.
