CBS saw season highs with 2 Broke Girls following People’s Choice Awards

Kat-Dennings-InsertIt looks like CBS made the right call having its two stars of ‘2 Broke Girls’ host the People’s Choice Awards this year. The network confirmed this morning that “2 Broke Girls,” “Mike & Molly” and “Mom” all hit season-highs in viewers following the event.
 
2 BROKE GIRLS, MIKE & MOLLY and MOM all delivered their largest audiences of the season, according to Nielsen preliminary live plus same day ratings for Monday, Jan. 13. 2 BROKE GIRLS was first in viewers (8.93m), adults 25-54 (3.6/09) and adults 18-49 (2.7/07). 2 BROKE GIRLS posted its season-best viewers and adults 25-54 performances and matched its second-best adults 18-49 rating. 2 BROKE GIRLS was up +24% in adults 25-54 (from 2.9/07), +17% in adults 18-49 (from 2.3/07) and added +1.34m viewers (from 7.59m, +18%) from its last first-run episode on Dec. 16, 2013.
 
MIKE & MOLLY was first in viewers (9.74m), adults 25-54 (3.5/08) and adults 18-49 (2.4/06). This was MIKE & MOLLY largest audience of the season and was the night’s #1 program in viewers. Compared to the last-first run episode on Dec. 16, 2013, MIKE & MOLLY was up +17% in adults 25-54 (from 3.0/07), +9% in adults 18-49 (from 2.2/06) and added +860,000 viewers (from 8.88m, +10%).
 
MOM was first in viewers (8.46m) and adults 25-54 (3.0/07) and averaged 2.1/05 in adults 18-49. The freshman comedy posted its largest audience of the season. MOM was up +15% in adults 25-54 (from 2.6/06), +11% in adults 18-49 (from 1.9/05) and added +1.02m viewers (from 7.44m, +14%) from its last first-run episode on Dec. 16, 2013.
