If you are excited to watch the 2014 People’s Choice Awards, there is no better place to start than the red carpet. This year, fans cast more than 160 million votes for the nominee selection phase, a new record. Robin Williams, who won his first People’s Choice Award in 1979 for his role on “Mork & Mindy,” has received a nomination 25 years later in the same category, “Favorite Actor in a New TV Series,” for the THE CRAZY ONES. “Glee” leads the list of TV nominees with eight nods, including Favorite Network TV Comedy and four acting nominations for the show’s cast.

Katy Perry is the top music nominee with five nominations: Favorite Female Artist, Favorite Pop Artist, Favorite Song, Favorite Music Video and Favorite Fan Following. Sandra Bullock leads the list of movie nominees with five nods: Favorite Actress, Favorite Comedic Actress, Favorite Dramatic Actress and two for Favorite Duo (one with George Clooney and the other with Melissa McCarthy). McCarthy is the only star to be nominated in both movie and television categories, including Favorite Comedic TV Actress for MIKE & MOLLY, and Favorite Comedic Movie Actress.
