Amazon cuts prices on best games of 2013, Editor’s Choice goes live

As other retailers are winding down their holiday sales, Amazon is kicking off a new one. The online giant has just selected its own ‘Editor’s Choice’ options for customers looking to pick-up a few games on the cheap.
Among some of the titles that were selected for the event are BioShock Infinite and SimCity, with digital titles like Contrast also making the list of deeply discounted games. There are actually 74 games that made the list, from smaller indie-titles to giant AAA releases from 2013.
As we mentioned before BioShock Infinite is on sale for just $13.20, while Borderlands 2 Game of the Year Edition is marked down to just $29.99. Also mentioned earlier was Contrast, that gorgeous silhouette delight is only $14.99 for a limited time, while larger games like Crysis 3 is $9.99 and SimCity and XCOM: Enemy Within are both $19.99 a piece.
The sale goes on for a while but if you want a retail version of the game then you better act fast before they are sold-out. Amazon states that, ” customers will receive a $5 promotional credit for each qualifying purchase (any purchase from the Digital Games store, excluding free items), but the promotional credits cannot be stacked on top of each other when they are used.”
Amazon also notes that, “Holiday promotional credits given out for Digital Games purchases cannot be redeemed until January 4, 2014 and must be used by January 31, 2014.”
