Amazon reminds shoppers, it’s the last day to order for free shipping

You know that Christmas is almost here when Amazon releases its final warning to the general public concerning the company’s shipping deadlines. The online retail giant reminds customers that today (December 18, 2013) is the final day that you can order items and receive the standard free-shipping bonus and still get your item in time for the holiday.

Of course Amazon Prime members have even longer, thanks to the free two-day shipping that comes with the membership (that you can sign up for for a free 30 day trial). Prime members always get free two-day shipping on millions of items, with no minimum order size and of course the other extras. Those include unlimited instant streaming of thousands of movies or TV shows with Amazon’s own Prime Instant Video and a Kindle book to borrow for free each month from the Kindle Owners’ Lending Library.

If you aren’t a member and are on a deadline you could sign up for the free trial and save yourself, if not then you better double-check that all the presents are tied up tight and are already on their way, or have arrived.
