Joseph Gordon-Levitt and “The Dark Knight” screenwriter enter The Sandman
Warner Bros. can’t seem to get enough Joseph Gordon-Levitt, the studio has confirmed that the actor and his former “The Dark Knight” screenwriter, David S. Goyer, have come on board to produce a new adaptation of the DC Comics title “The Sandman”.
Joseph Gordon-Levitt is just coming off his first directed film, “Don Jon,” while the original author of the graphic series, Neil Gaiman, is attached to executive produce. The comic-series falls under the DC Comics brand and wasn’t the most popular of series.
Fans should remember the Dream, or Lord of Dreams, Morpheus, Oneiros, the Shaper, the Shaper of Form, Lord of the Dreaming, the Dream King, Dream-Sneak, Dream Cat, Murphy, Kai’ckul, and Lord L’Zoril if you want to get technical. After being imprisoned for 70 years Morpheus escapes his capture, enters modern-day and plans to start anew.
