The VGX 2013 Awards went off without a hitch last night as SPIKE TV successfully launched the award show’s new format. Moving away from the traditional format, the award show offered a more intimate setting, with a relaxed interview-focused atmosphere, that was almost more of a talk-show than an awards show.
Major releases like Irrational Games’s ‘Bioshock: Infinite’ and Naughty Dog’s ‘The Last of Us’ took home several awards, while indie-hits like the popular title ‘Gone Home’ had their unique moments to shine in the spotlight. Taking the top-prize of Game of the Year was Rockstar’s latest installment, ‘Grand Theft Auto 5’. Here is the complete list of winners by category.
