50 Shades of Grey Casting, Rita Ora is Christian Grey’s adopted sister
Production is underway on one of there most highly-anticipated films of the new year, ’50 Shades of Grey’. The film is set to launch on Valentine’s Day and today we confirmed that Singer Rita Ora has been given the role of Christian Grey’s adoptive sister, Mia. The film is a joint project from Universal Pictures and Focus Films.
That rounds out the cast of Dakota Johnson, Jamie Dornan, Luke Grimes, Eloise Mumford and Jennifer Ehle. The film is being directed by Sam Taylor-Johnson and is based the multi-million dollar book franchise “Fifty Shades of Grey” written by E L James. No word yet on the follow-up novels, “Fifty Shades Darker” and “Fifty Shades Freed,” which are also expected to hit theaters (assuming the movie does well).
Ora is from Yugoslavia, though the British singer is best known for “Hot Right Now” and her album “Ora” that took the number one spot in the U.K. when it was released
