Family Guy Kills Off A Griffin

In one of the more somber episodes of the series, FOX’s ‘Family Guy’ killed off a major character during Sunday’s episode. The announcement that the writers were going to kill-off one of the Griffins was made earlier this year, but it wasn’t until last night that the deed was finally done.

So we are going to report which one died, so if you haven’t seen it yet, look away. After a short into involving Stewie’s time-traveling device, The Griffin’s lovable and liberal dog Brian, is now dead. The dog was killed by a speeding car while Stewie and Brian were playing street hockey in front of the house.

The character of Brian has been on the show since the first episode back in 1999, the episode that killed him was called “Life of Brian”. It was Seth MacFarlane himself that voiced Brian, the last words he spoke to the family were, “You’ve given me a wonderful life. I love you all.”

In the beginning Stewie and Brian had to use the time-machine to fix another mess they caused while traveling through time. It was because of this that Stewie destroyed the time-machine, and will be unable to use it to save Brian. After the loss, the family waited a month to get Vinnie, a new dog voiced by “Sopranos” star Tony Sirico.
