Few would argue that the cast of Lionsgate ‘The Hunger Games Catching Fire’ aren’t a beautiful lot, but last night we got a chance to see them out of their usual poverty-stricken districts, and step into the limelight in LA. At the center stood Jennifer Lawrence, an internet favorite, loved for her carefree nature and absolute modest approach to being on of the most sought-after actors in her age-range.
At a moderately young age it’s always exciting to see stars hit such gigantic premieres, with thousands of fans waiting all night to just to catch a glimpse of them and hundreds of members of press fighting to get a picture and a sentence, it can be almost a madhouse to witness. Not all actors take the position with grace, but the leading cast of young actors like Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth met fans and seemed to be enjoying themselves. Veteran actors like Woody Harrelson, Elizabeth Banks, Lenny Kravitz, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Jeffrey Wright, Sam Claflin, Jena Malone, with Stanley Tucci and Donald Sutherland all have appeared at different events throughout the press-tour, some making last night and are featured in our gallery below so you can catch up.

The film is directed by Francis Lawrence, from a screenplay by Simon Beaufoy and Michael deBruyn, based upon the novel “Catching Fire” by Suzanne Collins and produced by Nina Jacobson and Jon Kilik. The first installment of “The Hunger Games” was the 14th highest-grossing North American release of all time grossing nearly $700 million at the worldwide box office.
