Verizon Wireless rolls out New ISIS Mobile Wallet, latest push in secure purchasing
Mobile purchasing is quickly becoming a booming-business here in North America, and while some apps and brick-and-mortar stores like Starbucks have their own dedicated application, many customers want the experience to become universal. That’s the idea behind Verizon’s latest push with the Isis Mobile Wallet.
The idea behind the ISIS Wallet is to allow Verizon Wireless customers to store all of their cards in one secure, convenient place. Today marks the release of the Isis Mobile Wallet, which available for download today (November 14).
The ISIS Mobile Wallet easily runs on Verizon’s 4G LTE Network here in NY, and of course all throughout the country, and offers a new, innovative payment option at the counter. This application stores your payment cards, loyalty cards all on your Isis-ready smartphone. With one tap, you can make a secure payment, present your loyalty card or redeem an offer at participating merchants.
Many local stores are participating already, including:
- · Retail Stores: Bloomingdales, Macy’s, Foot Locker
- · Drug Stores: CVS, Duane Reade
- · Lunch Spots: Subway, Jamba Juice, Pinkberry
- · Grocery Stores: Gristedes, D’Agostinos
To celebrate the national launch of the new Isis Mobile Wallet, Verizon Wireless customers will receive $10 when they download Isis Mobile Wallet and activate a new American Express Serve Account, as well as an additional $10 after their first tap-to-pay transaction at a Verizon Wireless location.
