Blake Lively heads to White House to discuss film with young students
We are consistently amazed at Blake Lively’s lifestyle, whether it be jetting-off to far away lands for ad campaigns, or premiering new films, or just hanging out at the White House, Blake does Hollywood right. Lively was asked by First Lady Michelle Obama to spend a few hours at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue late Friday night; Lively was a guest speaker to discuss the film industry with a few young high school students .
Blake joined veterans Whoopi Goldberg, Naomie Harris, and even Mr. Hollywood himself Harvey Weinstein at the event. Lively spoke about her own High-School experiences, the US News & World Report, reported that Lively even mentioned that her own high school did not let her walk at her graduation. This was because she had missed too many days of school (she chose instead to to film her first major role in a film ‘The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants’). We bet she does not regret her decision. Speaking more about school Lively said, “If I could, I would go back and I would go to college,” though everything turned out ok for little Miss Lively.
