Keanu Reeves may have found his leading lady, reports have been confirmed that Rachel McAdams is in talks to join the new film starring the Keanu, that project is expected to release later next year. The film is called ‘Passengers’ and it will directed by Brian Kirk, fans might recognize the game from such television series as ‘Boardwalk Empire’ and ‘Game of Thrones’.
As for the story, it focuses on a transport vessel in space carrying a colony to a new planet. The problem is Reeves wakes up 90 years too early. Reeves can’t just reenter hibernation, and Rachel McAdams is soon brought out of hibernation as well, and the two are now living on this floating tomb until they presumably die.
Jon Spaihts is writing the story, he also wrote the script to ‘Alien: Engineers’, you know it as ‘Prometheus’ because it was Damon Lindelof that rewrote it.
