Hunger Games Soundtrack adds 3 tracks from CPM22, ABBY and Lori Meyers
Fans that are eagerly awaiting the release of ‘The Hunger Games: Catching Fire’ film, can look forward to buying the soundtrack a few days earlier to get in the spirit of things. Along with the already released tracks on the official soundtrack, Lionsgate and Republic Records have added CPM22, ABBY and Lori Meyers to the local versions.
Those versions will most likely be made available online as well. ABBY’s song “Again” will be available November 15 in both Germany and Austria. Spain, Central America and South America will get a version with Lori Meyers’ song “Hombre a Tierra” on November 18 and Brazil will get CPM22’s hit “13,” on November 18.
Those songs also represent what will be played at the closing credits. “Beginning with the worldwide campaign kickoff of The Hunger Games: Catching Fire in Cannes this past May, we made a promise to work closely with our international partners in order to create a truly global event for this release,” said Patrick Wachsberger, co-chairman of Lionsgate Motion Picture Group. “Adding these highly successful artists, who are each beloved in their local territories, is yet another big step toward achieving that goal.”
On all of the albums you can expect the songs of Coldplay, Patti Smith, Christina Aguilera, The Lumineers, Lorde, Imagine Dragons, and Sia. “Atlas” by Coldplay is on of the most populars songs, it even debuted in first on the iTunes Overall Top Songs chart. Look for the soundtrack on November 19 in the U.S., the film is set to release on November 22, 2013.
