Battlefield 4 commercial strategy, show what can be done “Only in Battlefield”
The first-person-shooter (FPS) market takes aim this fall, with two of the largest franchising hoping to win out a majority of the audiences. Activision’s ‘Call of Duty’ franchise has been sitting atop the FPS throne for a few years now, but EA hopes to turn a few heads with their new ad campaign, “Only in Battlefield 4.”
The campaign slogan is part of the in-store and online marketing, a few new television spots will be popping up as the game nears it’s October 29th launch date. EA describes the game as a “genre-defining action blockbuster,” one that is made “from moments that blur the line between game and glory — moments found only in Battlefield.”
The game certainly looks realistic, and running on next-generation consoles fans can expect to see a bigger, faster, and more heart-racing multiplayer component when the game is finally released in just a few short weeks. EA has also been upping the ante by offering a few terrific pre-order bonuses. If you pre-order from authorized retailers (like Amazon) then you can pick up a free Battlefield 4 Battlepack code.
