Valve registers a Half-Life 3 trademark, the internet exlpodes
Steambox, Steam Big Picture and a new controller? These are nice add-ons but what fans really want to know is when the new Half-Life 3 title will finally become a reality. Well a NeoGAF user named Shinobi602 may be the internet’s hero of the day. The user found a new filing on the Trade Marks and Designs Registrations Office of the European Union website that points to the new filing.
The filing listed is for a trademark on “Half-Life 3” and it is under two distinct classification sections. The first being “Computer game software; Electronic game software; Downloadable computer game software via a global computer network and wireless devices; Video game software.” The other is “Provision of on-line entertainment; provision of computer and video games and computer and video game programmes from a computer database or via the Internet.”
As you can imagine the world is teaming with theories and ideas, you should share your own with the fellow that started the hunt, on NeoGAF above.
