Ellie Goulding covers Justin Timberlake’s Mirrors for BBC, a smooth and sultry take

It would be hard to imagine the British singer/songwriter Ellie Goulding doing anything poorly, so when we heard that she covered Justin Timberlake’s summer hit “Mirrors” for BBC Radio, we had to share it with you. The song was recorded for BBC’s Live Lounge and we are sure fans will want to add it to their collection.

It’s no longer a dance-floor hit, instead Goulding added her own unique and personalized vocals to the track, without much of the background companionship that could be found on the original. Of course that isn’t to say there was anything wrong with the original “Mirrors”. The original track from Timberlake’s second 20/20 Experience album was a huge hit this summer. The video even took home the Video of the Year award from MTV’s VMA’s.
